- Statement of Work SF1442 Special Note to Vendors Solicitation document Cover Letter Dear Prospective Offeror: Enclosed is Request for Quotations (RFQ) General construction services for the installation of platforms with handrails and stairs at U.S. Embassy Kabul, as per attached statement of work (SOW). If you are interested in this solicitation, please follow the instructions in Sections K & J of the solicitation document, complete the required portions of the SF 1442, and submit your quote to the Contracting Officer, via KabulGSOBids@state.gov. Only quotes sent to KabulGSOBids@state.gov will be accepted. Please do not send your bids to any other email address. While sending your quotes via email, the subject line should be: RFQ # PR5502308_ General construction services for the installation of platforms with handrails and stairs at U.S. Embassy Kabul (Contractor's Name). Please ensure that your subject line follows this format. If it does not comply with above format, your bid will NOT be accepted. The site visit for this solicitation has been scheduled as below: Date: Wednesday, August 03, 2016 Time: 10:00am, Local Time (Kabul, Afghanistan) Venue: South gate consular U.S. Embassy Kabul To attend the site visit, every interested bidder is required to submit the following by e-mail to hazratik@state.gov, no later than Thursday July 28, 2016 at 10:00 hours (Kabul Local Time): a) Company Name: b) First Name: c) Last Name: d) Identification number,(Tuzkira): e) Phone Number: Note: The DBA insurance price will not impact the actual construction price and will be not considered in the financial evaluation price Analysis. The DBA price will paid based on actual proof of payment and invoice. Please provide actual/estimated DBA price in a separate line in your proposals. The deadline for receipt of the quotations is Thursday August 11, 2016at 12:00 hours Eastern Time. No quotation will be accepted after this time. The U.S. Embassy intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting the technically acceptable quotation at the lowest price. We intend to award the contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need.
