- Description
- The Contracting Department, Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price type contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13. Contractor shall provide laundry services, and weekly pick-up and delivery of linen. This acquisition will be solicited as a 100% total small business set-aside. The Government intends to include and evaluate options in accordance with FAR 52.217-5. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 27 July 2016 by downloading the documents at the FedBizOpps Website as follows: https://www.fbo.gov. This requirement is for the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School (NAVSCIATTS) located at the Stennis Space Center. The resulting contract will be for the period of a twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve month option periods. FAR 52.217-8 "Option to Extend Services" will be included in the solicitation and contract The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 812320 with a size standard of $5.5 million. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
