- Business Office Air Monitoring RFI's; #1: Question: Can you please confirm that the 15 days of abatement for this project are consecutive business times during normal hours (7am - 5pm)? Answer: The 15 days of abatement will be broken into two separate phases requiring two separate mobilizations. Working hours will be off hours, unless coordinated otherwise and will take place between 5PM and 5AM. #2: Question: Can you please clarify if the projected 15 days of air monitoring will be for three (3) continuous work weeks or do you anticipate a gap between Phase I and II? Answer: There will be a gap between Phase I and Phase II which will require a second mobilization. #3: Question: Is it known how many negative air pressure machines will be used and if they will each have separate exhaust ports? Answer: Each individual location will require a negative air pressure machine with a separate exhaust port during ACM removal. #4. Question: Is it known how many critical barriers will need to be monitored (ie: fire doors, stairwells)? It appears from the drawing two critical barriers exist. Answer: Monitoring of critical barriers (ie: fire doors, stairwells) is not required as part of this solicitation. #5. Question: This is a 100% SDVOSB set aside, can a sub-contractor be utilized by the SDVOSB to perform field activities? Answer: This is 100% setaside SDVOSB and the prime Contractor must be registered and current in Vetbiz as a SDVOSB. A SDVSOB can be utilized as a subcontractor if you chose but the prome is required to be a SDVOSB. #6. Question: This RFQ does not mention the working hours of the work day. Will the abatement activities be performed Monday to Friday during 7.00 AM to 5 PM or there are different work hours? Answer: Working hours will take place between 5PM and 5AM. #7. Question: Is there any weekend work? Answer: No. #8. Question: Is there a specific number of air samples that should be used as a baseline for setting the price for the quote? Answer: Air sampling is to be in accordance with 12 NYCRR Part 56, subpart 56-7.
