- P1475 Construct Cultural Assimilation Facility Pre-Engineered Metal Building and P1396B Construct SOF Intel OPS Expansion Pre-Engineered Metal Building The projects include the following: P1475 The work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new 11,240 SF Cultural Assimilation Facility that will provide training classrooms, administrative offices, and facility support functions. The building will be a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB). Incidental work includes the removal of existing trees, site work and improvements, utilities, and landscaping. P1396B The work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new 5,000 SF single-story PEMB with rigid frames, standing seam metal roof, and translucent wall panels. Special construction features include columns supported by cast-in-place concrete spread footings, slab on grade foundation, and storm water best management practices. For both projects, the following disciplines will be required. Electrical systems include: primary power distribution, lighting, energy control systems, and telephone/data switch/server rooms, electrical switch gear, circuits, and fire alarms. Mechanical systems include: plumbing, fire protection, and de-humidification, heating/ventilation/air conditioning systems, energy management control systems, and direct digital controls. Information systems include telephone, data, local area network, mass notification and intercom. Site and building utility systems/connections will include utility distribution systems, traffic control, parking, electrical power, domestic water, fire protection water, sanitary sewer, storm water management, telephone/data communication, fiber optics, and television. Sustainable construction features will be included. The projects require a third party certification. Separate line items for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment for each project are contemplated. Procurement Method: The requirement will be solicited utilizing sealed bidding, FAR Part 14, procedures. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220 and the annual size standard is $36.5M. Estimated cost: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. The proposed contract listed here is 100 percent small business set-aside. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns. Offerors shall submit with their offer a bid bond for 20% of the amount for Davis Bacon Act (DBA) work.
