- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, NCIRD/ISD, 1600 Clifton Rd. NE, Mailstop A19, Atlanta, GA, 30333, hereby announces its intent to issue a sole source contract to Life Technologies Corporation 3175 Staley Rd Grand Island, NY, 14072 to provide highly specialized custom-made 96-well TaqArray cards. NAICS Code: 325199 Period of Performance: Deliver by 09/01/2016 The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as cited in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Life Technologies Corporation is the only company that can make these highly specialized custom-made 96-well TaqArray cards which are capable of detecting multiple pathogens. These TAC cards will be used by multiple collaborators both domestic and international and is critical for harmonized detection of multiple pathogens. Responsible sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities identified above are encouraged to submit to the Contracting Officer within 3 days from the posting date of this notice, their written capabilities statement, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency for future procurement.
