- TECRO Capability Brief RFI TECRO SOW TECRO CDRLS TECRO Capability Questions to Industry AAV FMS TECRP AAV7A1 RAMRS FMS Technical Capabilities Briefing Description: Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV) Reliability, Availability, Maintainability/ Rebuild to Standard (RAM/RS). Purpose: Program Manager, Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA), Program Executive Officer Land Systems, Quantico, VA, requests technical capability submissions by all interested parties in regards to the Request For Information M67854-16-I-0003 previously issued. Interested Prime Vendors are requested to submit a response to the Capability Questions to Industry attached to this announcement. It is the Government's intent at this time to encourage Government/Industry exchanges of information to improve the understanding of Government requirements and industry capabilities, thereby allowing potential offerors to judge whether or how they can satisfy the Government's requirements, and enhance the Government's ability to obtain quality supplies and services at reasonable prices, and increase efficiency in proposal preparation, proposal evaluation, negotiation, and contract award. In addition, early exchange of information among industry and the program manager, contracting officer, and other participants in the acquisition process can identify and resolve concerns regarding the acquisition strategy, including proposed contract type, terms and conditions, and acquisition planning schedules. Requirement: Interested Prime Vendors are requested to review the posted "Draft" Statement of Work (SOW), "Draft" Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), AAV7A1 RAM/RS Foreign Military Sales Capabilities Brief, and the Capability Questions to Industry, as well as the base RFI M67854-16-I-0003 on the Government Point of Entry ( www.fbo.gov ) Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) and submit a response to the Capability Questions to Industry. Responses in MS Word and MS Excel Office 2011 compatible format are due not later than 2:00 P.M. EST August 10, 2016. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail only to the Contracting Officer at carl.bradshaw@usmc.mil and the Contract Specialist at alicia.sims@usmc.mil. Please note: The Technical/Capabilities brief does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposals or proposal abstracts. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Submissions of Technical/Capabilities briefing is voluntary and is not required for proposing to subsequent solicitations (if any) on this topic. Government will not provide reimbursement for costs incurred to participate in Technical/Capabilities brief. All updates will be posted via FEDBIZOPPS only. (See additional attachments)
