- Description
- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 6.302-1(a)(2) to Remote Diagnostics Technologies (RDT), Basingstoke, Hampshire, United Kingdom, to provide necessary licenses renewal, maintenance, and supplemental user support for existing Tempus Pro monitors in support of Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC). RDT provides a unique set of communication features in addition to a wide set of patient monitoring capabilities necessary for physiological status monitors. The resulting contract will provide required licenses renewal, maintenance, and supplemental user support for the Tempus Pro monitor(s) already in place. The estimated value of the contract is $92,000, inclusive of required travel. The period of performance for the contract is anticipated to be one year, beginning 15 August 2016. Based on the referenced unique capabilities and required licenses renewal, maintenance, and supplemental user support for the Tempus Pro monitor(s) already in place, RDT is the only company capable of meeting the Government's requirements based on proprietary rights. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data and other information sufficient to determine capability to perform the proposed contract effort. All capability statements received by 2:00PM Eastern Time on 02 August 2016 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements shall be submitted by email ONLY as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to jeanette.m.wolfe.civ@mail.mil.
