Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is SPE601-16-R-0311 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88 (FAC), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This opportunity is under the associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code this procurement is 336212 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. The solicitation SPE601-16-R-0311 is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-aside, for a commercial item under authority of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The contract resulting from this procurement will be a firm fixed price contract. The acquisition strategy for this procurement encompasses a negotiated procurement utilizing the best value source selection procedures identified in FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, as authorized by FAR 12.203. SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 0001 H268-V20000256 35.000 EA $ ________ $_________ Service, Inspection and Recertification Requalification 0002 H268-20000256 35.000 EA $________ $__________ Service, Inspection and Recertification Requalification 0003 H268- V20000232 35.000 EA $ _______ $_________ Marking and Labeling 0004 H268- V20000232 35.000 EA $ ________ $_________ Marking and Labeling Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy), as the Department of Defense (DoD) Integrated Materiel Manager (IMM) for Aerospace Energy products and services, requires the requalification from original manufacturer's 5 year recertification to a 10 year recertification specifically for Weldship Corporation International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Frame Mounted 12 Tube Compressed Gas Systems and Trailers utilized for bulk helium compressed gas service in the Continental United States (CONUS) as well as Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). The Contractor shall provide all supplies, management, tools, equipment and labor necessary to ensure that each assigned Weldship ISO trailer is properly inspected, requalified and remains in a safe, serviceable and roadworthy condition.
