- THE SPACE AND NAVAL WARFARE CENTER ATLANTIC, CHARLESTON SC INTENDS TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO ISOLATION DYNAMICS CORPORATION UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF 10U.S.C. 2304(C) AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 6.302-1. THE REQUIREMENT IS TO PROCURE 66 EACH ISOLATOR CABLES. The isolators (M24-750- 08-B) are required to modify the AM-7640/WSC-9(V) High Power Amplifier (HPA) shock isolator design to support installation of the amplifier on CVN platforms where deck resonance could negatively affect HPA reliability using the currently installed isolators. Installation of this modification meets the intent of PEOC41 NMT AN/WSC-9 SHIPALT 008 as included in SCD 18995 for the AM-7640/WSC-9(V) High Power Amplifier. The M24- 750- 08-B isolators were designed specifically for installation of the HPA's on CVN class ships with weight and deck resonance taken into consideration. THIS ACTION WILL BE CONDUCTED IAW FAR 12 AND FAR 13. THE RESULTING CONTRACT WILL BE FIRM FIXED PRICE. NAICS CODE 339999. THIS SYNOPSIS IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS. ANY INQUIRIES CONCERNING THIS REQUIREMENT ARE TO BE SUMBITTED IN WRITING TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER.
