- Photo of boat ramp to be replaced - Eau Galle Recreation Area The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers requires the removal of an existing boat ramp, composed of pre-cast concrete planks, and the installation of a new boat ramp, composed of pre-cast concrete planks, anchored to a cast-in-place concrete slab. The on-site construction will take place between 6 September and 16 November, 2016. The boat ramp is located in Eau Galle Recreation Area, Spring Valley, Wisconsin - in Pierce County, approximately 50 miles east of St. Paul. The solicitation will be a Request for Bids (RFQ) This synopsis is not a request for quotes, proposals or bids. This is a notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future. The specifications will be detailed in the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The definitive quote due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued. No CD's or hard copies of this notice or the solicitation will be available. Offerors are responsible for checking the fbo.gov website for any update(s) to the Notice.
