Description

Strategic Systems Program (SSP) intends to procure and award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Order under BOA N00030-16-G-0038 to General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), Pittsfield, MA. for the following efforts: •· System Integration services, including Information Assurance (IA), for development, delivery and installation of a Strategic Weapon Interactive Trainer (SWIT) at the Trident Trainer Facility (TTF), Bangor, WA. •· Systems, Software, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering effort to design a standalone Data Entry Subsystem (DESS). This order is being awarded on a sole source basis in accordance with statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." GDAIS has had the responsibility for the design, development, production, installation, and documentation under prime contracts for these supplies and services with the Government. Due to the technical complexity and specialization of the programs and systems, a thorough knowledge of the design, production, and assembly is essential, so that the various categories of work are performed in a timely and cost efficient manner. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No phone inquiries will be entertained.
