- SF1442 Solicitation SAQMMA-16-R-0309 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-89. This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 236220. The small business size standard is $36.5 million. The contractor shall remove the three (3) sets of three (3) existing hydraulic vehicle barriers at the Main entrance and exit gate (one on each lane) and the Service Gate, and all their support equipment and replace them with three (3) new hydraulic vehicle barriers and their controls, and support equipment at The US Embassy Maseru, Lesotho. The magnitude of the proposed project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The barrier system used for this project must have been crash tested and/or listed on the most current Department of State Approved Anti-Ram Vehicle Certification List. The vehicle barrier replacement must comply with the vehicle barrier manufacturer's site preparation and installation documents. The anticipated contract shall be a Firm-Fixed Price contract in accordance with requirements set forth in the Statement of Work. The Period of Performance is approximately six (6) months from date of Notice to Proceed. The deadline for submitting questions is 12:00 pm Eastern Time on August 9, 2016.
