R16PS01396 Salient Characteristics R16PS01396 RFQ CLAUSES R16PS01396 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation R16PS01396 SF-18 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Request for Quote No. R16PS01396 - 1500 GPM Fire Protection Centrifugal Pump The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region has a requirement to purchase 1500 GPM Fire Protection Centrifugal Pump B&G In-Line Pump Series e-80SC model 8x8x11. It is anticipated that one firm fixed-price purchase order will be awarded. All costs to supply and deliver the products shall be included with your quote. Determination of award will be based on the lowest overall price, responsive quote from a responsible offeror. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This requirement is being issued as Solicitation No. R16PS01396. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-86. (iv) This requirement is set-aside to small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 333911 - Pump and Pumping Equipment Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 333911 is 750 employees. (v) Contract Line Item Numbers: Line Item 00010: 1500 GPM Fire Protection Centrifugal Pump Line Item 00020: 1500 GPM Fire Protection Centrifugal Pump (vi) 1500 GPM Fire Protection Centrifugal Pump (Flange to Flange Distance (suction to discharge): 36.69" (+/-) 132) B&G In-Line Pump Series e-80SC model 8x8x11, 40 HP, 460 Volts, 1800 RPM, Stainless Steel, 9.375" impeller or bigger, Standard Seal, Bronze Fitted, 1500 GPM, 80ft head, Exterior Paint Red or Hoover Approved Equal (must fix exactly into existing location) Furnish two (2) High pressure pumping units, for boosting, liquid transfer and circulation, under a high static pressure. Inlet pressure from 8-inch supply line shall be pressures of 35psi +/- 5psi and must discharge pressure liquid to 175psi. Pump shall be a Bell and Gossett Series 8x8x11 - with pump & motor built into a vertical in-line mounting. Pump shall be within standard NEMA JM vertical solid shaft motors in drip-proof enclosure with standard mechanical seal. Technical: Rated flow: 1500 US gpm Rated head: 80 ft. Required Submittals Prior to Final payment: Pump detailed specifications and data Drawing of actual dimensions - as delivered Vendor MUST submit product literature along with your quotation to demonstrate how the proposed product meets the above salient characteristics. The following items are required to be submitted along with your quote: 1. A detailed list of the proposed items with pricing. 2. A technical description of the items being offer in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in this solicitation. This includes product literature and description, such as data specification sheets to show that you meet the above salient characteristics. *It is mandatory that you submit product literature of the items being proposed. If you do not submit this information, your quote may not be considered. (vii) Unit must be assembled upon delivery. Individual shipment of line items will not be accepted. Place of delivery is Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Regional Office, FOB Hoover Dam Warehouse #2, 1000 Hoover Dam Access Rd, US 93 Exit #2, Boulder City, NV 89005. Shipping must be free on board (FOB) Destination.
