Description

Justification and Approval Document Synopsis: THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT; THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The Nevada Air National Guard, Reno-Tahoe International Airport intends to enter into a Firm Fixed-Price contract on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) with H & K Architecture, 5485 Reno Corporate Drive, Suite 100, Reno NV 89511. The contract is for Architect-Engineering Inspection, Type C, services for the construction which is valued between $5 million - $10 million. The scope of work includes but is not limited to request for information and submittal review and coordination, attend bi-weekly coordination and progress meetings, review and approve construction schedule and progress payments, conduct pre-final and final inspections and acceptance, complete and submit DD Form 1354, and prepare and furnish record drawings. The period of performance is 365 days. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. If interested, firms may submit Standard Form 330 Architect-Engineer Qualifications to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice for consideration. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow NVNG to evaluate the firm's capabilities in accordance with FAR 36.602.
