- The United States Government is seeking to Lease aproximately 3,919 usf of contiguous office space in Middletown CT. The space should yield between 3,919 and 4,114 ANSI/ BOMA Office Area square feet. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, seven (7) years firm. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than April 2017. Space must be contiguous on one level. Agency requires two elevators if proposed space will be located above the first floor. All column spacing within interior space must be at lease 20 ' between columns. Building must be within walking distance of public transportation The delineated area is as follows: North: Washington Street to Main St. to Cresent Street to Main Street extension to Saybrook Rd to Bow Ln West: Broad Street to Church St to South Main St. to Rt 17 to Mill St to Ridge Rd South: Russell St to Hillside Ave to Clew Dr to Saybrook Rd. to Resevoir Rd East: Bartholomew Rd Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The space must be capable of meeting the agencies security requirements. Space shall be located within a prime commercial district within the determined delineated area stated above, with attractive and prestigious, professional surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. Building must have sufficient public parking nearby. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the none year flood plain.
