THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation. It is the intent of the Contracting Office to use this for market research purposes only. Should a formal solicitation be released, it will likely be via the Federal Business Oppportunities (http://www.fbo.gov). The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this RFI. DESCRIPTION: Seeking market capability to provide/meet the following minimum requirement for Malmstrom AFB, Montana: 180-degree Range Theater HD system with Multi-Directional Sound Rack mount CPU system Tabletop all in one touchscreen control station Desk, keyboard, optical mouse and desktop speakers HD Short-throw projectors to support 180 degree screen 8-device laser weapon and flashlight detection modules Surround sound system 800+ multi-branching interactive single screen scenarios 55+ skill builder exercises 75+ multi-screen scenarios Additional Equipment: Dry-fire laser training inserts: 9mm dry-fire weapon lasers or replica glock training weapons OC Spray training devices: laser modified OC spray training devices for less-lethal applications; thumb or trigger activation. Recoil kits: pistol (M9); drop-in tether-less recoil kit with CO2 refillable magazines; no permanent modification to weapon required. Recoil kits: rifle (M4); drop-in tether-less recoil kit with CO2 refillable magazines; no permanent modification to weapon required. WRK refill station with tank, dock and sled-M9 WRF refill sled-M4 WRK armorer's kit (rifle and handgun) Taser - sim weapon w/ cartridges WRK refill-only magazines; M9 and M4 magazines. Additional System Capabilities: Low light training program to allow trainee to utilize real flashlight in-conjunction with weapon for low-light training; non-lane based to allow for multiple users Trainee action capture with picture-in-picture video/audio debrief; audio and color HD video capture of trainee's actions in a scenario for immediate debrief/review. Graph-x targets; utilization of any Graph-x modules for marksmanship, shoot-house, basic targets and range practice to include 55+ interactive CGI skill-builder exercises. Stats and Management; utilization of database information manipulation to create individual and/or group stats using relevant filtering criteria. Baton/Punch/Strike Branching and Scoring; capability to manually branch trainee scenarios using actual baton or strikes. Includes Kinect for Windows (or similar item) and custom range software add-ons to enable voice control of system and scenario branching, detection and branching from baton use, physical strike, defensive and offensive tactical movement and trainee tracking for camera view changes. Range anywhere-wireless instructor. Haptic feedback device (or similar item); operator controlled haptic distraction device to include: Haptic feedback units (vibrate mode only) and charging cable; instructor remote with settings and adjustments. Course Designer Program; editing software program to create lessons, tests and presentations for classrooms, auditoriums, and training rooms or for one on one instruction. Availability to allow users to utilize both digital video and computer graphics capabilities to create fully interactive training videos and/or graphics based training environments; including HD camera for scenario filming. NOTE: should a system(s) exist that closely but not completely meets the above requirement, literature is still encouraged to be submitted to ascertain market capability.
