- Description
- This synopsis is to construct a new golf course irrigation system and pump house on Hurlburt Field, FL. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, and equipment to perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work as shown on the drawings and specifications. The general work includes, but not limited to, constructing a new golf course irrigation system and pump house, including new intake structure from Gator Lake and power supply to new pump house, encompassing the 18-hole Gator Lake Golf Course at Hurlburt Field, FL. The new system shall properly irrigate the eighteen fairways and tee boxes, while reducing water waste through leakage and inefficient irrigation. Bid options will be included to provide retrofitted heads at the greens complexes, irrigation of the driving range, and construction of a cart path for access to the new pump house. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237110. This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15, Negotiated Procedures. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Performance period is 240 calendar days. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Five (5) contract line item numbers (CLINs) will be incorporated into the contract. CLIN 0001 will be for work IAW Drawings and Specifications to Irrigate 18 Fairways and Tee Boxes, CLIN 0002 will be to Construct New Pump House and Lake Intake, CLIN 0003 will be a bid option to Provide Retrofitted Heads at Greens Complexes Per Plan Sheets I5.0 Through I5.3, CLIN 0004 will be a bid option to Irrigate Driving Range Per Plan Sheet I6.0, and CLIN 0005 will be to Construct New Cart Path to Pump House Per Plan Sheet I7.0. Estimated magnitude for the total project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award. The work is required in support of the 1 st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 19 August 2016. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
