- Description
- The intent of this project is to install a 65 ft WYTL electrical shore-tie for visiting Cutter located at U.S. Coast Guard Station Pt. Allerton, Hull, MA (Plymouth County). The work includes new isolation transformer, conduits, conductors, ground fault monitoring system, advance energy metering, the tracing of unknown shore-tie circuits, relabeling of the Boathouse panels, and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis. Note: Although the majority of the conduits can be installed from the 400 foot long walkway decking between the shore and boathouse, there is a significant amount of conduit and conductors that will require installation beneath the wharf/boathouse (over the water of Hingham Bay). The anticipated construction time is 74 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A payment bond (SF25A) will be required.
