Description
Amendment 1 - The purpose of this amendment is to modify FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full effect. This acquisition is reserved for small business concerns; however, the Government is accepting quotes from small business concerns and large businesses. Award will not be made to a large business unless a significant price disparity deems it suitable. The North American Industry Classification system code (NAICS) 335999 size standard of 500 employees. Contract line item numbers and quantities: CLIN 0001 One (1) Ground Power Unit. Must be diesel operated and have a fuel tank that is capable of operating for 8 hours without being refueled. Minimum of 4 stroke and 4 cylinder. Low oil pressure automatic shutdown and high water automatic shutdown. Must have the following gauges: Voltmeter, Ammeter, Tachometer, Oil Pressure, Fuel Level, Water Temperature, Hourmeter, Battery voltmeter. Cable length must be at least 30 feet for DC 4/O standard 3 pin connector. Cable length must be at least 30 feet for AC 2/O standard 6 pin connector. Must be tier 4 final compliant. Ground clearance needs to be between 14" and 16". Needs to be able to operate in cold weather conditions. Needs a five wheel base for turnable steering, have a steel frame, and a corrosion free fuel tank. 400Hz 90 kVA 115/200 VAC. Second output 28.5 VDC/600 amp. Similar to "Hobart 4400". Warranty: The Contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard warranty normally offered in a similar sale, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Acceptance of the standard warranty does not waive the Government's rights under any "Inspection" clause that may be in the contract nor does it limit the Government's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the standard warranty. The standard warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable material and/or services listed in the Schedule. The Contractor shall provide a copy of its standard warranty (if applicable) with its offer. The warranty covers a period of ____________ months (OFFEROR is to insert number).
