- A0001 - Responses to Vendor Questions ***Amendment A0001 has been added on 8/2/2016 incorporating vendor questions and answers*** This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Parts 12 and 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This is issued as a request for proposals (RFP). The RFP is attached. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89. Referenced FAR clauses can be found at www.acquisition.gov. This synopsis/solicitation is issued for full and open competition under the NAICS 334517 for "Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing". This RFP is for Mobile Reflective Imaging Systems for the Non-Intrusive Inspection program. In addition to the systems, this solicitation covers associated services (such as maintenance and training). The attached Statement of Work provides details. Specific requirements are outlined in the attached RFP (HSBP1016R0026). The result of this RFP will be the establishment of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract between the CBP and a single vendor. Supplies or services will be requested via delivery or task orders during the ordering period of the contract. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is included. The contract will be awarded according to a best value trade-off analysis as outlined in the attached RFP document. Please include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with any offer, unless already registered as active in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Additional clauses cited by that clause are applicable and can be found in the attached RFP. All other terms and conditions can be found in the RFP. NO Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating has been assigned. Offers are due by 4:30 PM ET, August 15, 2016.
