- This acquisition is being authorized under PR: 64505214 for 41 EA of NSN: 6340-01-146-8241 (Detector, Fire, Overheat). This item is AMC/AMSC coded as 3/Z with one approved source listed as Meggit Safety Systems, Inc. (CAGE: 25693) P/N:3151-19-600/400-6. This NSN is a commercial off the shelf item.This item is a Critical Application item. The acquisition will be solicited as Unrestricted using the procedures of Other Than Full and Open Competition in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Inspection/Acceptance is at Destination, FOB is at Origin, First Destination Transportation (FDT) applies. Ship to stock location is San Diego, CA. Standard military packing and marking are required. Delivery is requested as 38 Days ARO. The estimated solicitation open date is 8/17/16, with tentative closing date of 9/16/16.
