Description

1.SOURCES SOUGHT #VA701-16-N-0153 The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources that can provide new furniture and accessories for its Joint DoD/VA Integrated Clinic in Monterey, CA. Specifically, the VA intends to purchase lamps, markerboards, and various types of seating as a part of this acquisition. This is a contract for supplies only. Descriptions of the items and salient characteristics are listed below. This sources sought notice is for market research purposes only. A determination on the contract type, mechanism for procuring the services, and possible set-aside will not be made by the Government until after the market research has been completed. No proposals are being requested or accepted under this synopsis. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 337127 - Institutional Furniture Manufacturing - and the size standard is 500 employees. 2.REQUIRED ITEMS AND SERVICES 2.1The selected vendor will be responsible for the following: 2.1.1Provide item in accordance with the requirements below 2.1.2Deliver item 3.STATEMENT OF LINE REQUIREMENTS SEE ATTACHMENTS A AND B 4.REQUESTED INFORMATION FROM INTERESTED VENDORS Qualified companies are encouraged to respond. Responses should provide the following information in response to this sources sought announcement: 4.1Business name and address; 4.2Name of company representative and their business title; 4.3Nature of business, pertinent details and experience; 4.4Business size as it relates to the NAICS code and size standard stated in this sources sought announcement; 4.4.1For small businesses responding, please include in your response whether your business is able to provide the items as (1) a small business manufacturer or (2) a small business non-manufacturer providing items manufactured by a domestic small business manufacturer (ref. Non-manufacturing Rule requirements at 13 CFR § 121.406).
