- JOFOC for sole-source contract to the Inter-Tribal Long Term Recovery Foundation, for the planning, organizing, hosting, and evaluating technical assistance and training events for tribal governments on behalf of FEMA Region IX in Southern California. Including: Development of an annual plan, foundational Emergency Management, Individual & Community Preparedness, Risk management, Grants, Hazard Mitigation, and Continuity of Operations, Tribal Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training, Tribal Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA) training, Emergency Management (EM) Planning and Technical Assistance training in Southern California.The estimated value is $280,000 for a base year and four (4) one-year option periods. In accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1) and 5.201, this is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract, and is not a request for proposals. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) / Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region IX, 1111 Broadway Suite 1200, Oakland, CA 94607, intends to award a sole-source contract to the Inter-Tribal Long Term Recovery Foundation, for the planning, organizing, hosting, and evaluating technical assistance and training events for tribal governments on behalf of FEMA Region IX in Southern California. Including: Development of an annual plan, foundational Emergency Management, Individual & Community Preparedness, Risk management, Grants, Hazard Mitigation, and Continuity of Operations, Tribal Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training, Tribal Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA) training, Emergency Management (EM) Planning and Technical Assistance training in Southern California.The estimated value is $280,000 for a base year and four (4) one-year option perids. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government, and information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government/FEMA will not be responsible for paying for any of the costs incurred and associated with the development of any responses submitted to this posting. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 813319.
