Request for Information Maintenance and Repair Voice Products Dolbey Systems/Fusion Dictation System Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Purpose/Description: This RFI supports a potential effort for Software Maintenance and Support Services and is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of this system for use by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA). If after reviewing the requirement, you desire to participate in the RFI, you should provide documentation that supports your company's capability in meeting these requirements. If you lack sufficient experience or capabilities in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.) This Contract will be a non-personal services contract. The Contractor, its employees, agents and subcontractors shall not be considered government employees for any purpose. Contractor shall furnish all labor, Materials, and supervision to provide services. BACKGROUND: Equipment: The VA owned contrast injection systems are used for interventional and diagnostic cardiology procedures at the VA Medical Center. Services on the equipment include maintenance support, corrective maintenance repair, and phone support during business hours. Provision of parts and service, and modification as required due to safety or reliability. All OEM software updates shall be included. TASKS AND REQUIREMENTS Performance and Repairs: All work performed shall be in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, including but not limited to: adjustments, calibrating, cleaning, lubricating, testing, disassembly, checkout, replacement of parts, etc. required to keep the equipment in operating condition. Contractor must guarantee 95% up time for the equipment. Contractor shall guarantee that all equipment covered by this contract shall be in optimum working condition at the completion of each contracted Period of Performance. Contractor will make every attempt to maintain and repair equipment within a reasonable time, Contractor will come on-site for repair as needed. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. However, this RFI will in part, assist the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in determining set-aside potential. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey.
