Description

The purpose of this amendment is to: 1)Clarify estimates of labor hours, labor positions, and numbers of site visits as well as project deliverables. Since the estimated completion date for the Sprinkler System Project is Dec 31, 2017,the Commissioning Agent needs to perform at least 16 site visits (1 per month) to verify the construction progress, observe system and component installation. VA engineering office estimates that the following positions and hours for each position will be needed to successfully complete the commissioning: Project Manager - 125 hours Safety Engineer - 125 hours Typist - 40 hours Interested vendors should submit quotes broken down by unburdened labor cost for position as well as total cost of labor. Also, interested parties should supply a projection of overhead costs and total cost of the contract. Also the Commissioning Agent need to provide a Schedule and the time of performance should be the following: oSubmit Commissioning Plan 10 Days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) oSubmit Pre-Functional Checklist 15 Days after NTP oSubmit Final Commissioning Report 14 days after the project completion.
