- INDUSTRY EVENT, 16-17 AUGUST 2016 An Industry Event will be held 16-17 August 2016 at the 377th Air Base Wing Headquarters, Kirtland AFB, NM. This Industry Event will be held to ensure a complete understanding by all interested parties of the magnitude, and Performance Work Statement (PWS), as well as, planned acquisition strategy for this requirement. Prior to the event, a DRAFT Request for Proposal (RFP) and applicable DRAFT documents will be released via FBO for industry review and in-depth feedback on capturing the Civil Engineering mission. DRAFT RFP will be posted by 1 August 2016. It is highly encouraged that all interested parties attend this Industry Event in order to actively and effectively participate in this acquisition. The Government will provide briefings, an opportunity to ask questions in an open environment, and a base tour on 16 August from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Please arrive to Kirtland Air Force Base one hour prior to ensure that you have enough time to process in at the gate and arrive at the briefing location by the specified time. Offerors are encouraged to submit written questions to be asked in open forum no later than (NLT) 3:00 pm MDT on 11 August July 2016. All questions and answers asked during the open session will be published on FBO. The Government will also host private one-on-one sessions with interested companies on 17 August 2016. The purpose of the individual sessions is to allow interested parties the opportunity to discuss specific questions related to the BMC requirement and to provide in-depth technical discussions, as well as discuss specific questions related to the DRAFT RFP; this is not an opportunity to provide a capability briefing. The number of individual sessions are limited and are scheduled for 20 minutes, but may require less time. Questions pertaining to source selection sensitive information, proprietary information or trade secrets will not be answered. Offerors shall submit written questions to be asked during the one-on-one sessions in advance and no later than (NLT) 3:00 pm MDT on 11 August 2016. One-on-one sessions will not be confirmed until questions are submitted. All questions and answers asked during the one-on-one sessions will be published on FBO. All interested companies MUST coordinate attendance with Ms. Rafaela Kovacs via e-mail at rafaela.kovacs@us.af.mil and Mr. Rane Linton, rane.linton.1@us.af.mil NLT 3:00 pm MDT, 10 August 2016. Please reference all e-mail correspondence with the following subject line: Company Name, BMC Industry Event, FA9401-15-R-BMC1. Each company is permitted to send two (2) representatives. ATTENDEE REGISTRATION/BASE ACCESS A request to attend the Industry Event shall be made via email with the following information: 1. Company name, requestor's name and job title, company physical address, DUNS, CAGE Code, and indicate if company plans on being the prime contractor or subcontractor for this effort. Each company is permitted to send two (2) representatives. 2. For each attendee, provide their first name, middle initial, last name, date of birth, and last four of social security number. 3. Request for a one-on-one session on 17 August 2016. Session times will be randomly assigned and companies will be notified of their time slot via email. One-on-one sessions will not be confirmed until questions for the session are submitted. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice; all costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS POSTING OR THE RESULTING INDUSTRY EVENT.
