Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) has a need for contract design, development, programming, and maintenance services in support of its Depot Total Asset Visibility System (DTAVS). Anniston Army Depot developed DTAVS to support its material/parts management, material/parts routing, and pallet/box/basket configuration needs. Originally, DTAVS was developed to supplement the depot’s legacy system - the Standard Depot System (SDS) – which was subsequently replaced in October 2010 with the Army’s new Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) enterprise system. LMP has now been replaced by LMP2. The intent of this acquisition is to purchase contract development and maintenance services needed to continue to support DTAVS to adapt to and/or augment the Army’s LMP2 system. Additionally, maintenance support services are needed to supplement in-house support personnel during the testing/fielding and production phases of LMP2. Anniston Army Depot will have unrestricted rights to use, modify, or duplicate any solution(s) developed by the contractor under this acquisition. This is an unrestricted acquisition. North American Industry Classification System Code is 541511; the associated size standard is $27,500,000. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, 5.102(a); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://www.fbo.gov/. Estimated issue date is 29 August 2016. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal. POINT OF CONTACT: T. Morey Gaddy, 256-741-5227, E-Mail: troy.m.gaddy2.civ@mail.mil.
