Description

Roman Catholic Priest for 0930 Mass THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTES. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Marine Corps to identify potential PROVIDERS for Roman Catholic Priest Services, and if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 813110 which has a corresponding Size Standard of $7,500,000.00 The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all businesses to include 8(a), small business and small disadvantaged business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned and nonprofit organizations small business concerns per DFARS 252.219-7999. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. Maine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), Kaneohe HI, is seeking sources for contractor to provide Roman Catholic Priest for 0930 Mass. The Roman Catholic priest shall officiate at the regularly scheduled 0930 Roman Catholic Mass, and shall plan, execute and supervise a limited Roman Catholic program for eligible military personnel and their families. The Catholic Priest shall support the MCBH Catholic Community and conduct services in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) (See Attachment 1). The total period of performance shall be a one-year base period with four (4) one-year option periods. The contractor shall be capable of furnishing all requirements established per the PWS, at prices established at the time of a contract award. All contractors must be registered in the Systems for Award Management database to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. Responses should include the following: 1. A resume supporting the offerors' qualifications and technical requirements. 2. A copy of degree or documentation of required experience. 3. A narrative supporting professional knowledge of the tenants of faith of the catholic community and understand the requirements for religious support of children, youth and adults onboard military installations. 4. The following signed statement will apply to the potential awardee: "I assent to all of the terms and conditions of the RFQ, including the Early Termination Requirements. I understand that if I do not comply with the Early Termination Requirements, the order may be subject to a termination for cause in accordance with FAR 52.212-4(m) and in that case, I will be liable to the Government for all costs associated with the termination."
