Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Verified (www.vip.vetbiz.gov) Service Disabled / Veteran Owned Business (SD/VOSB) sources which can provide the following equipment: -Product must be rated for use in kitchen storage, freezers and coolers. -Shelving Units must be able to withstand Temperatures from -35F Degrees to 190F Degrees. -Shelving must be made of polypropylene. -Transverses and posts must be weight bearing with solid steel cores. -Shelving must be antimicrobial. -Shelving must be light in color for easy product visibility. -Shelving must have a smooth cleanable surface. -Shelving must be rust resistant. -Shelving has to have a lifetime warranty. -Shelves must be vented for the storage of perishable products. -Shelving units have to be easy to disassemble and reassemble for cleaning, as well as to hold up to this routine disassembly and reassembly. -Weight capacity must be from at least 600lbs, depending on the L x W x H, this is listed out below with sizes and quantities of the shelves needed. -Shelving units must be mobile, on casters of at least a 5" diameter, be able to swivel for ease of movement and have a minimum of 2 locking with brake casters. The dimensions and quantities have to be the following for the storage spaces as they maximize storage space while allowing for adequate work flow. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; suggested equipment information including manufacturer, model and delivery schedule; whether system is presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. NAICS Code 337214 is applicable to determine business size standard. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to Laura Davis via e-mail. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this Sources Sought Notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time.
