- This notice serves as a Sources Sought to determine whether qualified and experienced visual media companies are able to create a professionally produced command memorial video. Naval Special Warfare (NSW) requires a memorial video that is approximately 200 minute in length and based on 62 former command members. The memorial video will consist of 3 individual interviews (family, friend & teammate), each one minute in length, on each of the 62 command member. The Government will coordinate and conduct all interviews in a pre-determined location, in addition to providing a template for the vendor to follow in the production of the memorial video. The vendor shall provide the personnel, management, materials, equipment and facilities necessary to produce a memorial video. This is not a solicitation announcement for quotes and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. It is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Place of Performance (Site Locations) Filming shall be conducted onboard the Naval Air Station Oceana Dam Neck Annex, Virginia Beach, Va. but not limited to locations throughout the continental United States. NAICS Code The NAICS Code for this requirement 512110 Motion Picture and Video Production and the Size Standard is $32.5M. Anticipated Contract The proposed contract will be a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Period of Performance Estimated contract award date is 01 November 2016 and the memorial video shall be completed by 01 May 2017. Package Submission - No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up request. Responses to this Sources Sought request should reference H92244-17-T-0000 and shall include the following information: 1. Company name, address, POC name, phone number, fax number and email. 2. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE Code). 3. Size of business - Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantage, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned. 4. If the services can be solicited from a GSA schedule, provide the GSA contract number. 5. Documentation of technical expertise and or a link to previous work must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise, equipment and experience to compete for this acquisition. Standard company brochures will not be reviewed. 6. Vendors are strongly encouraged to provide possible labor categories, associated labor rates and if possible a range of magnitude (i.e. $25,000.00 - $30,000.00). 7. Also indicate if your company can be a prime contractor for this effort or, if not, whether your company can be a subcontractor. Responses, to include questions, shall be submitted electronically to matthew.morelewski@vb.socom.mil by 12 August 2016. Again, this is not a request for a quote.
