Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This posting follows procedures from FAR Parts 12 and 13. This is a request for quote (RFQ) for Four (4) Yamaha Kodiak 700 EPS ATVs (BRAND NAME or EQUAL) to be delivered to Fairbanks, Alaska 99701 and Barrow, Alaska 99723 FOB Destination. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, tools, labor, transportation, etc. required for this requirement in accordance with the provisions/clauses of the resulting solicitation/contract and solicitation attachments. The Government will not pay for any information provided under this synopsis. In order to be eligible for contract award, you must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website as an active vendor and not have any active exclusions. SAM may be accessed at: https://www.sam.gov This is a small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 336999, All-Terrain-Vehicles (ATVs), Wheeled or Tracked, Manufacturing. The business size standard is 1,000 employees. Make certain to review this solicitation and all attachments carefully before e-mailing questions or submitting a quote. Submit your quote on company letterhead with point of contact information, DUNS #, and business size. Include unit price, total price, delivery date, the date your quote is valid through (at least 3 months from the end of this solicitation). Delivery date should be the earliest and most reasonable possible. Also include make, model, parts #, and condition (if not brand new) for each item. Break out unit prices and delivery costs. Do not include sales tax as it is not applicable to Federal purchases. Additional document information and attachments can be accessed through FedConnect. Quotes received after the deadline shall be considered non-responsive in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated unless it is in the best interest of the Government. It is incumbent upon interested parties to confirm receipt of quotes. Quotes shall be e-mailed to: au_nguyen@fws.gov A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded to the company whose quote conforms to the solicitation and provides the best value to the Government with price being a consideration. It is incumbent upon interested parties to review this posting for future amendments. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award without discussion. Award is anticipated to be made within two week of the solicitation deadline. The following provisions/clauses and their addendum applies to this acquisition and are incorporated by reference. Provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) # 2005-89, effective 14 July 2016. Written notice of award or acceptance of an offer furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party unless a written notice of withdrawal is received from the contractor before the Government ¿s notice of award. Offerors must comply with the Department of the Interior (DOI) electronic invoicing instructions and all other instructions contained in the Internet Payment Platform (IPP).
