- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a solicitation on or about July 29, 2016 for the research and development of a new overt and device assisted security features suitable for use in protecting the next generation of United States Federal Reserve Notes from counterfeiting threats. For this requirement, the BEP would like to develop a new device assisted feature based upon advanced micro optic array technology. The Government will procures this requirement under Full and Open Competition resulting in a single award contract. The Government anticipates that the resulting contract will be Cost Plus Fixed Fee with a base year and two option years. Please see the draft Statement of Objectives (SOO) and Solicitation for addtional details. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or around July 29, 2016.
