Description
Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, transportation and testing necessary to perform Project Number 636-13-126, Renovate Inpatient Halls and Walls located on floors 5/6/7 in building 1 at the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System - Omaha VA Medical Center. Work includes, but is not limited to the replacement of existing carpet and vinyl wall covering, proper preparation of base finish for final finish material and the installation of luxury vinyl floor tile, paint and replacement of acoustic ceiling tile (ACT) pads. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract terms and conditions, specifications and drawings and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-16-B-0754 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about August 19, 2016. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will be held sometime during the week of August 29 - September 2, 2016. (See solicitation when available for specific date/time/location of Organized Site Visit). Bids are tentatively scheduled to be due on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 (See solicitation when available for specific time/date/location of public bid opening). The Period of Performance is expected to be 90-120 calendar days from the receipt of Notice-to-Proceed (See solicitation when available for actual Period of Performance and Phasing requirements). THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
