THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Verified (www.vip.vetbiz.gov) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business / Veteran Owned Small Business (SD/VOSB) sources which can provide the following equipment: Prime Bladder Scanner with Cart "Easy-to-read touch screen Console "Ergonomic handheld Probe for ease of use throughout the day "Onboard tutorial "Battery charger "2 interchangeable lithium-ion batteries "Operations and Maintenance Manual "Quick Reference Card "Ability to see scan location on probe screen and not have to look at main screen. "Live pre-scan aiming "USB and SD card ports "Technology supports clinically sound decisions by delineating tissue borders. "Utilizes a unique second harmonic "Algorithm analyzes complex, multifaceted ultrasound images "Differentiates the bladder, urine and hypo-echogenic regions such as the uterus · Unique scanning modes (male, female, small child) "Touch screen controls "Live B-mode pre-scan aiming to reduce user error "Post-scan aiming guidance to minimize uncertainty "Off-center scan and pubic bone interference notifications "Intuitive user interface "Onboard video tutorial for training and ease of use "Customizable savings calculator to track cost of ownership "Must come with a stand - Premium mobile cart "Premium mobile cart (roller stand) - must come with this "Accuracy range of + (15% + 15mL) "Scan from either side of patient "Drop-tested durability for long life and service "ENTIRE UNIT MUST BE ENCLOSED FOR DISINFECTING AFTER USE IN ISOLATION IN-PATIENT CARE ROOMS Potential SD/VOSB's having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated equipment are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Dorothy Tremont at dorothy.frasier-tremont@va.gov no later than Thursday, August 11th, 11:00am. Any replies received after that date and time will be considered late. The date and time showing on the received email will be considered the time of receipt. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; suggested equipment information including manufacturer, model and delivery schedule; whether system is presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. NAICS Code 334510 is applicable to determine business size standard. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to Dorothy Tremont via e-mail.
