Description
Single Source Justification NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The 502d Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for AmegaView AS-418 AV System Sensors and Installation in support of the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, TX. Conducted market research identifies that this requirement can only be met by Mesa Laboratories, Inc., the sole manufacturer and reseller of AmegaView Products. The AmegaView Continuous Monitoring System is currently in use at the BAMC. This is a temperature monitoring system for active monitoring of refrigeration equipment and can automatically initiate a contact call tree to notify BAMC care staff when temperature is out of safe range. All interested sources who can refute these findings with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide the AmegaView System Parts and Installation should respond via e-mail to the 502d Contracting Office, NLT 2 pm CDT 19 August 2016. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S. C. Section 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements and (FAR) 8.405-6, Limited Sources. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government. The points of contacts for this notice are listed below. The estimated award date is 29 August 2016.
