Description

The NCO 2 Network Contracting Office located at 400 Fort Hill Avenue in Canandaigua, NY 14424 intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price contract, Base + 4 Option Years, with Steris Corporation, 5960 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060 on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 13.106-1 Justification for Single Source Awards. The acquisition will be accomplished using a combination of commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 for the Select Choice Agreement Plan for the 16 inch CENT VAC SD STM CAB units currently in use at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210. Equipment List: ManufacturerModelDEPTSerial # Steris16 IN CENT VAC SDOR033401104 Steris16 IN CENT VAC SDOR033141114 Steris16 IN CENT VAC SDOR033401106 The contractor shall be required to provide service and must be certified by Steris Corporation, to provide for the Select Choice Agreement Plan. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Size Standard of $20.5 Million. Any firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this service must provide proof that authorization from the manufacturer has been attained by notifying the Contract Officer no later than 10:00 AM EST, August 19, 2016. Such notification must include any documentation that includes certifications and description of services that meets or exceeds the capabilities of the manufacturer. Notifications shall be mailed or emailed to Les Lecceardone (90C), Contract Officer, Canandaigua VA Medical Center, 400 Fort Hill Avenue Canandaigua, NY 14424 or Les.Lecceardone@va.gov. Upon receipt of any such notifications, the Contract Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the NCO 2 Network Contracting Office, Canandaigua VAMC shall proceed with the sole source negotiation with Steris Corporation. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes.
