Description

This is Sources Sought (SS) Notice only. This is not a request for proposal. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this SS, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. The SS does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. The purpose of this SS is to conduct market research to determine an acquisition strategy for integration of surgical suite air handling units into the existing FX 60 Johnson Building Management System (BMS). Network Contracting Office 10 is conducting market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Hubzone Small Businesses, or Woman Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), 8(a) firms capable of performing the requirements to warrant a solicitation set-aside. The proposed solicitation is to integrate the surgical air handling units into the BMS, utilizing as much of the current Schneider controls system as possible, at the Illiana Health Care System in Danville, IL. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and supervision to include programming, system graphics, startup and operational checks. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or around August 11, 2016 with an estimated award date of September 20, 2016. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Nikki Horther at nikki.horther@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses shall be received in writing no later than 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2016. Responses shall include 1) Company Name, 2) Address, 3) Point of contact, 4) Phone number, 5) Fax Number, 6) E-mail address, 7) Socio-economic status) and 8) DUNS.
