Description

The Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego “ Seal Beach Detachment (FLCSD) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of Industry to participate in a competitive acquisition for the expeditionary service support and tactical communications for Commander, Navy Expeditionary Combat Center (NECC) located at Expeditionary Service Support Centers (ESSC) Port Hueneme, CA and Gulfport, MS locations as well as NECC PAC Pearl Harbor, HI. Occasional travel is also required. This requirement may be solicited via NECO/FedBizOps. FLCSD anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the required services to commence no later than 1 December 2016. The period of performance is anticipated to be one base year with two potential option years for the each of the aforementioned locations. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 541519. The small business size is yet to be determined; however the current contract is being performed by an 8(a) small business. The purpose of this notice is to gather information about available small businesses to that can aptly address NBVC ™s requirements. In response to this sources sought synopsis, provide, via EMAIL ONLY, your CAGE code in your submitted information, along with a point of contact, and whether your company is large, small, disabled vet, woman owned, SDB, or hub zone. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. It is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability and adequacy of potential competitive sources prior to issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received as a result of this synopsis. It is requested that interested sources submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 2 pages in length, 12-point font minimum) addressing capabilities in technical areas. Capabilities shall include a clear demonstration of successful performance in similar service areas as well as the contractor ™s resources in cleared personnel, support equipment, and intellectual property, if applicable. A draft statement of work is attached. Submissions must be received no later than 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on Thursday, August 18th, 2016.
