- Title: Notice of Intent for award of sole source purchase order for Blast Door Hinges by Laron Incorporated for the 898 MUNS. Description: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL The 377 MSG/ Contracting Division Kirtland AFB, NM intend to award a sole source contract to Laron Incorporated for the purchase of Blast Door Hinges. In 2008 Laron manufactured and installed hinges for Blast Doors located at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque New Mexico. The hinges were custom built to designs supplied by Chugach Management Systems. Through the construction and installation of the hinges Laron developed information and manufacturing process which Laron considers to be proprietary. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within fifteen (15) days of this announcement.
