- Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide advisory & assistance services for Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 4. Description of Work- Contractor will provide a comprehensive industrial hygiene (IH) audit at each of the VISN 4 facilities, including their associated VA-staffed Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC). The primary purpose is to identify applicable programs or areas requiring further investigation and/or program setup and to identify deficient program areas and make recommendations towards abatement, control, and compliance. Technical Requirements- Contractor must provide its own resources (e.g., facilities, equipment, personnel, expertise and supervision) necessary to perform the services. Contractor must have a minimum of five years of experience within the last seven years conducting IH audits in health care facilities and have personnel whom are either a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) performing the services. Contractor personnel performing services pursuant to this contract must be qualified industrial hygienists or other similar professionals with experience in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (e.g., chemistry, biology, physics, and environmental sciences) and be either a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP). The Contractor will provide names of auditors, documentation of the auditors' credentials, and IH auditing experience at the time the proposal is submitted.
