- Amendment Summary: This amendment is being issued to correct the projected award date(s) as noted in description below. This projected date is only an estimate and actual award date(s) may occur before or after the projected date. Contracting Office Address: Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway Richmond, VA 23297-5002 Project Summary: DLA Aviation is issuing a solicitation to procure items in which 3M Company is the only approved manufacturing source. The solicitation will include approximately 134 commercial consumable items which are categorized in multiple Federal Stock Classes (FSCs) with the preponderance of items falling under FSCs 4240 and 5970. A separate add population of 168 NSNs was developed and includes items that may potentially be added to the resulting contract(s) in the future. The solicitation will be permit the award of up to two Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract(s) which will include 3-year base period(s) and single 2-year option(s) for potential 5-year contract term(s). DLA does not currently possess technical data for any of the items to be solicited. Alternate offers must submit a complete technical data package for each solicited NSN to be considered. Based on the anticipated 5-year contract term, the Total Estimated Dollar Value of this Acquisition, inclusive of the add population, is ~$66 million. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be fixed price but will utilize an Economic Price Adjustment Clause to establish pricing on an annual basis. The contract(s) resulting from this solicitation is/are projected to be awarded on or around 10 MAR 17 with performance occurring within the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and shipment to a CONUS depot. The solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set Aside. Offerors will be required to price all solicited items. A list of NSNs and Estimated Annual Demands has been attached. A copy of the RFP will be available on the DLA Internet Bid Board System at: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be published to DIBBS on or around August 19, 2016.
