Description

This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to assess the commercial marketplace for clinical psychology services for the development of mobile phone applications at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Palo Alto, California. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 541720 with Small Business size of $20.5 million. A DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. Please read through the DRAFT PWS before responding to this notice. If your company provides these services, please provide the information requested below: I. Staff capacity A. Are you available to perform all of your work duties in person, if required, at the Menlo Park, CA campus of the US Department of Veterans Affairs? If not, for what percentage of your work time would you be unable to be present at the Menlo Park, CA VA campus? B. Would you need to subcontract a portion of the service to be performed? If so, what percentage of the service would be subcontracted? II. Clinical treatment experience A. Do you have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program? B. What kind of experience do you have delivering in-person clinical mental health treatment for (1) traumatic stress, (2) sleep disorders, and (3) other mental and behavioral health conditions related to traumatic stress? C. What kind of experience do you have delivering teleconference/telehealth clinical mental health treatment for (1) traumatic stress, (2) sleep disorders, and (3) other mental and behavioral health conditions related to traumatic stress? III. Mobile app experience A. What kind of experience do you have with writing content documentation / functional specifications for native iOS or Android mobile apps for mental or behavioral health? Please describe an example and if applicable describe how it related to VA healthcare for veterans. B. What kind of experience do you have with designing user interfaces for native iOS or Android mobile apps for mental or behavioral health? Please describe an example and if applicable describe how it related to VA healthcare for veterans. C. What kind of experience do you have with participating in multidisciplinary teams that design and build native iOS or Android mobile apps for mental or behavioral health? Please describe an example and if applicable describe how it related to VA healthcare for veterans. IV. Academic experience A. What kind of experience do you have contributing to academic presentations about mobile apps for mental or behavioral health? Please list examples from your curriculum vitae. B. What kind of experience do you have contributing to academic publications about mobile apps for mental or behavioral health? Please list examples from your curriculum vitae. C. What kind of experience do you have coordinating research studies? Please list examples from your curriculum vitae. Please note that your company must actually be able to perform these services.
