Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) REQUEST FOR QUOTE For Water Treatment for Colling Towers Service at VA Palo Alto Health Care System PRESOLICITATION NOTICE VA Palo Alto Health Care System 3801 Miranda Avenue Palo Alto, CA 94304 DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS NETWORK CONTRACTING OFFICE 21 (NCO 21) Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). The Department of Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System has a requirement for contractor to provide all tools, material, chemicals, labor, equipment, and transportation to provide chemical water treatment to HVAC cooling towers, HVAC piping loops for heating and cooling, and to provide Legionella testing for Cooling Towers to prevent corrosion of piping systems and to protect patients, staff, and visitors from the possibility of Legionella bacterial infections while on campus at VA Palo Alto Health Care System locations (Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Livermore). Solicitation Number VA261-16-Q-0911 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about August 9, 2016. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications and information necessary to quote the project. Quotes are tentatively scheduled to be due on Thursday, August 18, 2016 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date).
