Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to contract for the services of up to two (2) FTEE, Board Certified/Board Eligible physicians for the Tomah VA Medical Center in Tomah, Wisconsin. These physicians are to provide coverage at the Acute Medical Inpatient Unit, the Urgent Care Clinic, the Community Living Centers (CLCs) and, when required, perform as Medical Officer of the Day (MOD). To fulfill these demands, contractor physician(s) shall preferably be trained in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine. The period of performance shall be for a Base Period of six (6) months, to begin as soon as possible, with three (3) six-month Option Periods to extend at the Government's discretion. Contractor is to provide firm-fixed (unit) pricing and will be paid only for actual hours worked and services performed. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561320, Temporary Help Services with a size standard of $27.5M. The solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) site on or about August 11, 2016 as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Offerors must be listed as verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database when an offer is submitted and at the time of award. Award(s) will be made to those offerors whose proposals represent the best value to the Government considering price and non-price factors. Multiple awards may be made. Questions must be submitted to the Contracting Officer (CO) by 10:00 a.m. CT on Tuesday, August 17, 2016.
