Description
Amendment 0002 - Questions and Answers received during site visits on 19 Jul 16 and 22 Jul 16 and via email up to the end of the question and answer period. No further questions will be received up to the end of this solicitation. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation, W91SMC-16-T-0012 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Qty: 1 (vi) The 182nd Airlift Wing, Peoria, IL is seeking office furniture products with installation and design included as called for within the solicitation W91SMC-16-T-0012 that is attached to this FBO solicitation. This space is intended to provide workspace for employees as well as an efficient and secure space to support the technological equipment that will be installed to serve military operations. Vendor is required to provide workstations and office furniture for full-time and part-time staff, designated work areas, conferencing and multipurpose room furnishings, and equipment. Any item descriptions, salient features, or quality requirements listed within this document or in its attachments are not intended to be proprietary, nor are they referring to any specific product. Contractor is required to provide non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, management, supervision, transportation, quality control, field measurement verification, and other items and services necessary to ensure that each area is properly equipped. Contractor will provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and management to: (1) Coordinate delivery; (2) Load and unload all contractor provided systems furniture, furnishings and equipment; (3) Place/install furniture, furnishings, and equipment in designated rooms; (4) Assemble items and connect all electrical components insuring excess wiring to reach junction boxes. Pigtails from furniture will be attached to the building by base electrician. (5) Secure and store as designated; and (6) properly dispose of all associated packaging/crating materials. Additionally, the Contractor will provide training on any furniture, furnishings or equipment outlined in this contract. Contractor will be responsible for all measurements. All buildings will be made available to the Vendor for field measurement for the site visit date and time listed below only. The Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement to the offeror who offers the lowest price technically acceptable offer to the Government. The Contracting Officer will award a contract to the responsible Offeror whose submittals conforms to the solicitation/synopsis and offers the lowest price technically acceptable offer to the Government. The Government will not award a contract to an Offeror whose submittal does not adhere to submission requirements. (vii) The products will be delivered and installed to include a final physical inspection of all installed areas. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a successful Offeror will address all items within the addenda of this provision. (ix) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, is not applicable. Basis for award is lowest price technically acceptable. The Government intends to make a single firm-fixed price award. The following commercial item is requested in this solicitation: A successful offeror will confirm physical measurements for all items previously listed. The Government will not provide any physical measurements to the contractor. Submittals will only be considered technically acceptable if the contractor has physically measured the spaces within each CLIN's area. (x) A successful offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Alt-1, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. A site visit is scheduled for 19 July 2016 at 0900 CST at 2416 S. Falcon Blvd. A second site visit is scheduled for 22 July 2016 to review CLINs 0015, 0019, 0022, 0032, 0035, 0038. Attendees will need to contact the POC noted below in order to provide the name and company name of those attending for access to the installation no later than 18 July 2016 and 21 July 2016 for the second site visit. If all areas are not able to be seen within one day, then the site visit will resume on 20 July 2016. All questions will be posted as an amendment to this solicitation on or about 3 August 2016. This scheduled site visit will constitute the only 2 site visits for this solicitation. Questions will not be accepted after that point in time.
