General Description: The scope of this Design Build (D/B) project is to provide all services, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for design and construction to renovate approximately 5000 square feet of area to create a new SPS Scope Cleaning Suite. This design-build project will provide renovation of several rooms in the 4C wing of Building 100, including removing existing structures and utilities and replacing with new to create the new Sterile Processing Systems (SPS) work area at the CW Bill Young VA Medical Center, Bay Pines, Florida.. The NCO 8 anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract to provide construction services. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 The solicitation will be issued on or about August 16, 2016. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov. All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management SAM.GOV.
