- Advantor Security System Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Response Services The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB issues this Sources Sought Synopsis for information only to locate sources who are capable. Joint Communication Support Element (JCSE) requests a firm, fixed price maintenance agreement for their current Advantor Security System. This is not a Request for a Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this Request for Information (RFI). The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in response to this RFI. This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information for businesses capable of providing the product as described herein. The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) is currently conducting market research to determine qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. Such information will be evaluated solely for the purposes of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information: 1. A detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar work described in this notice 2. A point of contact with phone and e-mail information 3. Business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, etc.), business size based on NAICS 561621, Security Systems Services (Except Locksmiths). 4. A positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) is seeking information regarding the relocation and integration of the Advantor CCTV system for JCSE on MacDill AFB. The following information is requested: 1. Unrestricted 24-hour access to a technical support center, emergency service repair and preventive maintenance services for the existing access control network and associated equipment utilized for the closed circuit television and visual assessment alarm systems for the JCSE Compound facilities. 2. Preventive Maintenance performed annually for the SFXi Access Control Management System to include SFXi with ID to include: The hardware inspection includes and is not limited to cleaning the computers & all peripherals, arrange and label cabling, verify operation of the UPS units, check and adjust power supplies. The software inspection includes and is not limited to checking scheduled tasks, verify data back-ups, running system diagnostics and assessing results for corrective action, recording all software levels and updating to current release for purchased configuration, if needed. 3. Preventive Maintenance to Advantor Access Control Panels that report to the SFXi which includes: lnfraguard Access and Access Module maintenance, as well as service and maintain all connected devices (card readers, electronic locking devices,door position switches, and egress devices), visible wiring and control equipment as specified. Communications with the Access Control Management System (SFXi) will be verified, along with verification of proper annunciation. Battery operation will be tested; batteries failing to perform under load will be replaced at that time or, on a minimum of biennially, assuming current contract. As a part of the inspection, an Access Control inventory will be created with Bar-code markings to account for each component that is incorporated in this agreement for configuration management. 4. Preventive Maintenance to the CCTV System which includes: test and inspect all cabling and connections. Specific to Digital Video Recorder: Select a time of day for recording purposes, verify that it is recording properly and play back the selected time period. Verify settings for frame rate and CFI. Specific to Cameras: Visual inspection of all cameras and control equipment. Test of all cameras to ensure proper equipment performance. Adjust to required field of view, if necessary. Adjust focus. Verify auto-iris is working properly. Cleaning of the equipment. Lubrication of the PTZs. Any additional adjustments deemed necessary. Specific to the Exterior Cameras, the inspection will include: Verify blower and heater functions. Provide System Maintenance Report and out brief onsite personnel. Issue test documentation. 5. Software upgrades for the Advantor SFXi software configuration originally purchased by JCSE. For the purpose of this RFI, the anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621, Security Systems Services (Except Locksmiths), with the size standard of $20.5 million.
