- IGF::OT::IGF X:NOGRN, MINOR CONSTRUCTION: TITLE: Install Two 40,000 lbs Direct Drive 8-Piling Boat Lifts LOCATION: Gulf Islands National Seashore, Davis Bayou Area, in Ocean Springs, MS. SCOPE: All labor, materials and equipment to complete work consisting of pile driving, electrical, and marine construction activities for the installation of boat lifts in support of the 42 ft. vessel Miss Mary Ann and the 50 ft. landing craft vessel Captain George. INSPECTION OF SITE AND EXAMINATION OF DATA: The contractor is expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed, and field-verify the quantitative or dimensional data called out in the specification provided by the Government. MATERIAL and WORKMANSHIP: Products furnished under this contract shall be shall be new and of the most suitable grade for the purpose intended. When required by this contract or by the Contracting Officer, the Contractor shall also obtain approval of the material or articles which the Contractor contemplates incorporating into the work. All work under this contract shall be performed in a skillful and workmanlike manner, and adhere to the Manufacturer's or Supplier's written installation instructions and federal, state and local building codes. This acquisition will be conducted IAW FAR PART 13 SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. A single, firm-fixed price construction contract is contemplated. All quotations or offers that are timely received will be considered for award. Basis of award: price and other factors, e.g., past performance and quality. Formal evaluation plans and establishing a competitive range, conducting discussions, and scoring quotations or offers are not required.
