Description
Amendment 0002 modifies Schedule of Items, Shipping and Delivery instructions and extends the RFQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a FIRM FIXED PRICE Request for Quotation (RFQ), No. DTFH7016Q00055, being issued by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Western Federal Lands Highway Department (WFLHD) Acquisitions Department for an Unmanned Ariel System (UAS). This solicitation is a BRAND NAME REQUIREMENT prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award as prescribed in FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-89. This solicitation is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE and the NAICS code for this RFQ is 334511 with SIZE STANDARD of 1,250 employees. A responsible quoter is one whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. FAR Provisions and Clauses may be viewed and/or downloaded from https://www.acquisition.gov/?q=browsefar. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to incorporate any amendments and check https://flh.fhwa.dot.gov/business/simplified/ for questions and answers. Award will be made based on the best value for the Government.
