Description
The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement in support of the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) to procure commercially available, Portable Ophthalmic Microscope(POM) units, related items, and annual training to support Army Combat Support Hospitals and other deployed military applications worldwide. The POM required by the United States Army must adhere to a commercial standard that qualifies it for use in ocular surgery and must be commercially available. The Government expects to award a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112 and the size standard is 500 employees. As the evaluation process for the solicitation will include two-phases and will involve testing and evaluation of a demonstration unit/sample, the IDIQ contract award date is estimated on or about January 2017. No solicitations will be provided by hard copy, fax, or e-mail. All Offerors are responsible for checking for amendments to the solicitation from the internet. The Government is not responsible for any loss of internet connectivity or for an Offeror's inability to access the documents posted at the referenced website. To be eligible for an award or payment from any DoD activity, Offerors must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished at www.sam.gov. This includes the online representations and certifications located within SAM. The point of contact for this action is Rudolph Spencer at Rudolph.j.spencer.civ@mail.mil.
